Career Development Events
FFA members prepare themselves for success through career development events, competitions that provide opportunities to practice real-world skills on topics ranging from agricultural mechanics to public speaking, and from dairy cattle evaluation to marketing. The Washington FFA Association offers over 30 career development events, 24 of which are available at the national level.
Through direct sponsorship of a career development event, employers and industry leaders help to prepare students for success in their field, and gain valuable exposure to future customers.
Sponsorship includes:
Recognition during the state-level CDEs on banners and in remarks
Logo placement in Washington FFA Convention guidebook and on foundation website
Recognition on-stage during the Friday evening Washington FFA Convention session
Opportunity to present the first-place CDE team their plaque on-stage during the Washington FFA Convention
